Job Description
  • 50% Hands on and 50% functional deliveries.
  • Hands On
    • Java development.
    • Webserver configurations.
    • Product installations.
  • Requirement gathering from customers.
  • Ensuring deliveries are as per signed SoW.
  • Working with offshore technical team to get development done.
  • Accountable for the implementation and support of projects to NovelVox's customers In US Region.
  • Ensure end-t-o-end project execution from Presales HOTO till Operations handover. Define tasks, owner and timeline.
  • Accountable for Technical review and tracking work break down activities along with Project Manager.
  • Timely and successful completion of project.
  • Accountable for intimate understanding of the architectural and customer objective of the solution set, in order to guide technical team to achieving defined release objectives.
  • Define, foresee, plan and mitigate possible risks. Also has the ability to manage issues and identify timely blockers.
  • Streamline the development process in the project.

Technical skills:

  • Good knowledge of Java, J2EE, XML, JMS, Tomcat, JBOSS, Eclipse and JSP.
  • Knowledge of coding practices, basic programming patterns and Frameworks.
  • Must have 5 to 7 yrs relevant technical exp.
  • Well versed with the coding practices

Desired Candidate Profile
  • Excellent communication, quality focused, and work with utmost ownership. Proficient in conflict management and problem-solving skills.
  • Exposure in working with onsite-offshore model. Also has ability to manage and work with virtual teams
  • Should identify and plan stakeholders reporting/documentation requirements and ensure compliance
  • Comfortable working in Techno functional role, where 50% is technical and 50% functional including Team management.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects at a time
